This Nebraska Legend has arguably had a greater influence on women’s athletics and volleyball than any other person in the history of the sport. His accomplishments over his 25 years at NU are just astounding. The Nebraska volleyball team eventually filled every stadium they played in, including Memorial Stadium, when he moved it from the 4,000-seat NU Coliseum. In addition to his four national titles, he has a global record when he quits coaching. And now, following his retirement, Nebraska QB, Dylan Raiola, gives a two-word heartfelt message.
Dylan Raiola recently wrote, “LEGEND!!!”, “G.O. A. T” on an Instagram story. The message is for John Cook, the legend of Nebraska volleyball coach who is retiring after 25 years of service to Nebraska team. What’s even more fascinating is that Raiola’s message creates a path for another great Husker. Later on, we will learn about the outstanding individual. Because it’s a story in progress.
