The New York Knicks are fighting for their lives at TD Garden. Boston has worn their most unforgiving garb, grabbing the Knickerbockers by their throats, dominating their home turf as always. But, for New York, there is something more to be concerned about. Winning and losing are parts of the game, but to have their biggest star walk out of the court? An unbearable sight. Now imagine what it must feel like to watch Karl-Anthony Towns limp his way to the locker room.

Yes, in the fourth quarter of the Knicks vs. Celtics game, when the former was trying to keep up with the home team, KAT missed a dunk. Well, it’s pretty normal to miss a dunk or two. But then, he held his knees in pain. Trying to find his grip, Karl-Anthony Towns tried maneuvering around but couldn’t. The 29-year-old was seen writhing in pain on the benches. Simply put, the situation doesn’t look so good. He was then seen limping and leaving the court, heading towards the locker room.

It’s too early to say what’s the intensity of the injury, that is, if any. Karl-Anthony Towns has already been dealing with a persistent knee issue throughout this season. He missed a game or two in November. Now we need to wait for further reports on the extent of the limping situation, while he returns to the court to continue in the game vs. the Boston Celtics.

This is a developing story…
