4 min read

At 20 years of age, Aldrich Potgieter is already showing signs of greatness. The South African is playing in his rookie season on the PGA Tour. In 3 events so far, he has managed to bag a T15 finish already. His performance in the challenging conditions at the Torrey Pines in the Farmers Insurance Open showcased his caliber in the sport. Undoubtedly, he is one of the best players to come from the Korn Ferry Tour. It won’t come as a surprise if he starts winning in the big leagues as well.

With so much promise and potential, Potgieter has been able to attract quite a few brands for sponsorship. So let’s take a look at who the PGA Tour golfer signed within his short professional career.

Aldrich Potgieter’s endorsements in the Korn Ferry Tour

Fame comes at a cost. A cost for brands wanting to link themselves with you. And Aldrich Potgieter’s rise up the ranks has got him lucrative opportunities off the course as well. Still, in the early years of his career, Potgieter has already signed a couple of deals. This shows that despite being in his rookie season, he has already earned the faith and belief of more than one organization.

Back in June 2024, Potgieter was playing exceptionally well in the Memorial Health Championship. So much so that he finished the event at T8 going 20-under par 264. Still in between rounds, Summit Golf Brands announced that they have signed a sponsorship deal with Aldrich Potgieter as the new face of their roster. They aligned him with two of their brands, B. Draddy and Zero Restriction.

B.Draddy is known for its classy range of sports polos and t-shirts that are built for looks and efficiency when on the course. While the brand is still relatively less popular, it has still broken into the professional golf circuit with some player sporting their apparel. Most notably, Brian Harman started wearing them in 2022. His much-deserved 2023 Open Championship win helped B. Draddy gained a lot of attention.

Zero Restriction is a dedicated brand for weather-specific vests, jackets, and coats. Its range of windproof and waterproof jackets offers complete protection in challenging conditions. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that Harman also sported Zero Restriction jackets during his visit to the Royal Liverpool Golf Course. Especially considering how unpredictable the weather in the U.K. can get.

These were the brands that Aldrich Potgieter has been wearing on the course since his Korn Ferry Tour days. Let’s take a look at the other brand he has signed after joining the PGA Tour.

PGA Tour card & a new sponsor on board

Aldrich Potgieter stepped on the course with his PGA Tour card for the first time on January 9, 2025. He was in Hawaii at the time, playing in the 2025 Sony Open. Only a day later, on January 10, Scratch Golf Tours announced that they had partnered with the South African on the course. They offer luxury golf tours across the U.K. to enthusiasts who enjoy a bit of indulgence. Scratch Golf Tours, or SGT have been in business for 30 years. Through the years, they have established themselves as a trusted premium brand across Ireland, the U.K., and Scotland. It has also partnered with other golf brands like Club PT, Golf Safe, Ship Sticks, and other travel firms that help them enhance the experience for their customers.

Potgieter is the only brand ambassador for Scratch Golf Tours at the moment. In fact, he is signed on as a Staff Pro, as per their official website. Apart from wearing the SGT badge on his apparel, the PGA Tour rookie will also get involved in exclusive events hosted by them. Moreover, Potgieter will also feature in advertisements and content associated with Scratch Golf Tours.

Based on his Instagram account, it seems that Aldrich Potgieter also wears the Titleist brand often. That is because he is an ambassador for the famous golf equipment brand. Yes, Potgieter is a Titleist guy and a quick glance at his golf kit will make you realize that. He only carries Titleist, Scotty Cameron, and equipment in his bag. More information about the variety of his clubs can be found on his profile on the official Titleist website.
