President of Basketball and Business Operations Kelly Krauskopf, who drafted Mitchell in 2018 expressed her delight at getting her to sign a new deal. She said, “Kelsey has been a foundation of our franchise for many years, and we are thrilled to see her return to the Fever.” “We value Kelsey’s commitment to our organization, and we’re excited to see her build off a phenomenal 2024, her best season yet. She is one of the best guards in this league and is a cornerstone to building a championship roster.”
While the details of the contract haven’t been disclosed yet, but due to her receiving the core designation for the first time in her career. Kelsey will be earning close to $249k in a guaranteed max deal for the next season and fans will get to watch both Mitchell and Clark entertain them once more throughout the season.
