3,761-YD RB to Meet With Cincinnati Bengals After Parting Ways With Joe Mixon

2 min read

Before the 2025 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals are busy bringing in prospects for Top 30 visits. From safety Nick Emmanwori to defensive tackle Walter Nolen, the Bengals are leaving no stone unturned to fetch the top talents of the draft. Similarly, they are now looking to fill in the gap of a running back after Joe Mixon and the franchise parted ways. So, who’s on their radar this week?

The Bengals reunited with Samaje Perine to help Chase Brown, giving the team a solid backfield foundation. But still, this move didn’t eliminate the need to add to the room, and hence, they will be looking to add in more depth at the position. So, this time, according to ProFootballTalk on X, “RB TreVeyon Henderson (is going) to visit Bengals this week.

TreVeyon Henderson just helped Ohio State win it all. Now, he’s shifting his focus to the NFL. As per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, he’s heading to Cincinnati this week for a pre-draft visit with the Bengals. And here’s what’s interesting: Henderson’s backfield teammate, Quinshon Judkins, is also reportedly meeting with the team.

TreVeyon Henderson had a big year last season. He recorded over a thousand rushing yards (1016) with ten touchdowns. No doubt he looked sharp and explosive. And don’t forget, as a freshman, he racked up 19 touchdowns. However injuries slowed him down in between, but when healthy, the kid is electric. All in all, in total, this RB has piled up 3,761 yards over four years in Ohio State.

Now, the Bengals already have Chase Brown, who nearly hit a thousand yards himself last season. They brought back Samaje Perine and added Zack Moss. So the room’s not empty. Far from it. But clearly, they’re still looking for something more, something different. And Henderson might just be that spark, especially after Joe Mixon’s exit.

Stay tuned while we bring you more details…
