BKFC Knucklemania 5 left the entire fighting community in awe with back-to-back phenomenal fights. And with no gloves and no paddings, the excitement and the damage seemed to know no bounds. But just two fights into the event, the fight fans were already going crazy. And that greatly impressed Conor McGregor. After all, his event was turning out to be a success.
McGregor took to Instagram and reacted to a visual of the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia. The video showed the crowd going berserk as Brandon Meyer brutally KOed Zedekiah Montanez in the second round of their fight. ‘The Notorious’ decided to share the crowd’s reaction on his IG story and wrote, “18k fans sounding off on a KO win!”
Taking to X, the former UFC double champion shared yet another video that showed the energetic crowd at BKFC Knucklemania V. But this wasn’t any KO. It was the moment when McGregor walked into the arena. Needless to say, the BKFC part owner was proud of the team. In the caption, he wrote, “KNUCKLEMANIA V! My entry walk. This is just 2 fights into the card. I got there for 3rd fight onwards. Early prelims PACKED! Every fight delivered! I told you, BARE KNUCKLE FC IS THRILLING! Well done all my team!”

Even former UFC lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis was impressed and dropped two fire emojis in the comments section of the IG post. Ryan Gardner was also left flabbergasted with Meyer’s KO win. He wrote, “Now that was a knockout!” BKFC star Rob Armas also swooped in and commented, “@brandonbeastmodemeyer that’s what we love to see out of the red corner homie.” Fight fans didn’t forget about the resilience that Eddie Alvarez showed in his fight against Jeremy Stephens either. Let’s see what Conor McGregor thought of his former opponent’s performance.
Conor McGregor reacts to Eddie Alvarez’s performance
‘The Underground King’, even though he was forced to accept defeat as his corner threw in the towel after the third round, received commendations from ‘The Notorious’. During a conversation with The Schmo after the fight, McGregor said, “Eddie is a true warrior, as tough as it comes. A seasoned veteran. An accomplished fighter, and Jeremy whacked him out of there. So that was amazing, very good. Every fight was off the charts, no surprise. Bare Knuckle FC is here to say, 100 percent. Bare Knuckle FC, undeniable.”
And the thing that impressed McGregor even more, was the fact that ‘The Underground King’ didn’t quit even after breaking his mandible. No doubt, the pain must have been sharp and piercing. On top of that, he also incurred damage to his nasal cavity. After he shared the 3D render of his skull’s tomography on Instagram, McGregor jumped in and praised Alvarez even more. He wrote, “A f—ing WARRIOR! Through and true!”
The event was nothing short of exciting as each and every bout entertained the fighting community to the maximum. No wonder bare-knuckle fighting has been growing rapidly. But it’ll take moments like Knucklemania V to put the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship on the very top.
