Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever is all set to host the mid-season festivities of the All-Star break this year, and cannot be any more excited! The Iowa alum breathed life into the city last year, taking the team to their first post-season appearance in the last seven years. On top of that, CC, too, is bringing a lot of star power to the WNBA All-Star event in her team’s home city, as she will be participating in the three-point contest as well.
The WNBA All-Star Hosting Committee looks to be doing its part as well. Sporting events aren’t just about a game, they are also a chance to benefit and further develop a community. As the league brings its starry showcase to Indiana for the first time, they announce amazing news for the city! The event hosting committee has decided to provide over a million dollars in grants to four local nonprofits in Indiana.
With how the league is developing, it is amazing that they want to give back to the community as well.
